Hi, I’m Taka Shimokobe. Welcome to one of my spots on the web.

I'm a User Experience and Product Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. While I specialize in interaction design and rapid prototyping, I enjoy working in all phases of the product life-cycle. I'm driven to find solutions to complex problems.

I've designed at places like Workday and Project Jupyter, and once helped build a design community at my alma matter from the ground up.

Outside design, I'm passionate about heavy metal, community, strong coffee, and pixel platformers.

I’ll be returning to Workday as a full-time adult in September. In the meantime, I'm accepting freelance design or development work. Let's get in touch!
